Program
Our implementation of the curriculums is designed to meet the unique needs of students with disabilities or special learning needs. It is tailored to an individual student's strengths, needs, and goals, and will include accommodations or modifications to the general education curriculum.
Our Functional Academic curriculum includes a wide range of academic and non-academic subjects, such as reading, writing, math, science, social studies, and physical education, as well as functional skills like communication, self-care, and social skills. The goal of our curriculum is to help students with disabilities or special learning needs to achieve their full potential and participate as fully as possible in their educational and community experiences.
Independent Living Skills
Our living skills curriculum is a structured program designed to teach students with disabilities or special learning needs the skills they need to be as independent as possible in their everyday lives, including functional academics, self-care, communication, and social skills.
Mainstreaming
We systematically mainstream our students with general education students by placing students with disabilities or special learning needs in regular classrooms with their non-disabled peers to the greatest extent possible, with appropriate support and accommodations as needed to help them access and participate in the general education curriculum.
Job Skills
Our job skills curriculum is a structured program designed to teach students with disabilities or special learning needs the skills they need to be successful in the workforce, including basic job readiness skills, communication and social skills, and any specific skills required for a particular job or career field.
